Hotel visionary Andre Balasz helped design the homes in this building, so modern luxury is guaranteed in each unit. Some features include 11- and 12-foot ceilings, stainless steel refrigerators with glass doors in some kitchens, mirrors over the bathtubs in some homes, and private pools in two of the penthouses.
French architect Jean Nouvel designed the 13-story glass building, which features interspersed panes of red and blue. Resident amenities include a 24-hour doorman, concierge, underground parking with valet, private storage, live-in super, private landscaped garden, and continental breakfast delivery. Other amenities are a fitness center with a lap pool, Jacuzzi, steam room, and sauna, a resident lounge with a bar and screening room, and a seventh-floor “sky garden”.
SoHo is a vibrant fashion and art community. Historic architecture blends with modern buildings to suit the needs of the artists and designers who prize the neighborhood for its convenience to high-end boutiques and shops, galleries, and restaurants. The commute to the city is easy access to several subway lines, including the B, D, F, and M trains.
